About Us

BurmaList.com is a digital platform created to connect and support the Myanmar immigrant community, starting with one of the most important needs: finding doctors who speak Burmese.

I am a first-generation Myanmar American and a New York–based software engineer, passionate about building useful tools for Myanmar people around the world. Having experienced the challenges of living abroad, I understand how important it is to communicate clearly—especially when it comes to health care. That's why I started BurmaList: to make it easier for Burmese-speaking individuals to find doctors who understand their language and culture.

Right now, BurmaList focuses on providing accurate information about Myanmar doctors practicing in the United States. The goal is to help people feel more comfortable and confident when seeking medical care by allowing them to connect with doctors who can speak their native language.

This project is still in its early stages, and more features are on the way. I plan to expand the platform to include listings from other professional fields and introduce new tools to make the experience even more helpful.

There is so much potential for the people of Myanmar to grow in the digital space. I hope BurmaList becomes a small part of that progress and a resource the community can rely on.
